Is there reserved seating for the dances?

No, there is no reserved seating. 

Can I buy tickets at the event?

Yes! We will sell 3-Day Passes and Single Day Tickets at the gate (as well as online). Cash or credit cards accepted.

Will there be food and drinks for sale?

In addition to beer, wine, soft drinks and bottled water, we'll have BBQ & hamburgers, throughout the event and chuckwagon meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. 


Please, no outside food or ice chests.

Will weather effect the event?

No! The stage, dance floor, and bar are inside our huge hall. There is plenty of room to get out of the rain if you need to.

Will there be vendors?

Yes! And if you're a vendor, please go to our Vendor page for information on reserving a space.

Do you need volunteers?

Yes! Please see our Volunteer page for information. Thanks!

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are not allowed on the premises.

Can we leave the event and come back the same day?

Yes, you'll get a stamp or wrist band to exit and reenter whenever you'd like.

Can we bring a golf cart?

Sorry, no golf carts allowed.

Where can we stay?

You might check local hotels in Bulverde, Boerne, New Braunfels, Blanco or North Central San Antonio for rooms. Keep in mind, April is 'wedding season' in the area and hotels will fill up quickly. If you have an RV and have not reserved a space with us, try local state parks or any other RV Park in the area. These, too, will fill up early.  (See - Can I bring my RV or camper -below.)


 (We cannot recommend any particular hotel or campground.)

Are tickets refundable?

As much as we would like to say yes, the answer is unfortunately no. We have paid for the bands with ticket sales and cannot issue refunds.

Can I bring my RV or camper?

We will be allowing a limited number of RVs to park onsite at our event. The parking will be FREE and will be on a "FIRST-CALL” basis. You must request to reserve a space and receive a confirmation from us.


We will consider only those who have purchased three or more 3-day passes to the event and the purchaser will be allowed ONE parking place for their RV and tow or towing vehicle. The spaces are roughly 26' wide.


ALL parking spaces will be for "dry” camping only and no "hookups or services” whatsoever, will be provided by the Germania Farmer Verein or the Anhalt Western Roundup event.


This means bring your own water, generator, and complete accommodations! RV supply stores sell everything needed to dry camp.


Also, please remember that this event is located in the Texas Hill Country. This means the ground tends to be unlevel and rocky. So bring some blocking material to level your RV up (or your bed).

**NEW INFO for OFFSITE RV Campsites**

Additional RV camping near the Roundup is now being offered by our friends at the Guadalupe River RV Park & Campgrounds, which is located just 15 minutes (9 miles) from Anhalt Halle. Limited full hookups may be available, otherwise “dry camping” is available with restrooms, water, showers, laundry facilities, and dump stations for your needs. Generators and pets are also permitted.

For each day that an RV stays at their campground during the event, they are generously donating a portion of the proceeds to our agricultural scholarship fund. We would like to thank them for their contribution!


(This campground is separate from our event site, therefore, the "3 or more 3-Day Passes" requirement for consideration does not apply.)
